Paris Saint-Germain have made Zinedine Zidane their first choice to replace Mauricio Pochettino should he decide to leave for Manchester United, ESPN’s French football reporter Julien Laurens claims.
Neither Pochettino nor PSG has not been yet directly contacted by Man United yet. The Argentinian coach has not told his current employers he wants to leave either.
Despite that, it’s understood that Pochettino is still to fully settle in the French capital, and an offer from United could tempt him to return to the Premier League
That’s why PSG have already contacted the former Real Madrid manager to establish if he’s prepared to take over in the middle of the season.
Previously, it was reported that Zidane had rejected Man United’s approach himself. He feels as if his man-management skills would not be effective without the command of the English language that he does not have. Besides, his family does not want to live in Manchester.
