Super fast Dortmund foward, Erling Haaland reveals the retired player he would have love to play alongside him if he was still playing.

In a quick-fire Q&A session with ESPN back in May 2020, Erling Halaand was asked: “If you could play with any player who’s retired, who would it be?”

Looking at Erling Halaand’s goal scoring ability and his pace, playing along side Chelsea’s legend Frank Lampard would have been a blast for world football.

With 266 goals and 179 assists across his club career (stats via Transfermarkt), Lampard is one of the most prolific midfielders of all time – it makes complete sense why Haaland would have enjoyed playing alongside the former Chelsea boss!

In other news, Erling Halaand won’t be seen in the 2022 World Cup as Norway loose to Netherland in the last round of qualifies which ruins Norway’s slot at World Cup.
