Samuel Yaw Dabo, better known by his stage as Yaw Dabo, spoke up about his path to fame and fortune as a Ghanaian actor.
In a recent interview with Okay 101.7 FM’s Abeiku Santana, Yaw Dabo gave the narration.
He claims that he used to watch movies starring Nigerian actors ‘Aki and Pawpaw,’ and that he told his friends that he wanted to be an actor while he was in high school.
Yaw Dabo claims that some of his friends tried to discourage him, but he demonstrated to them that he had the potential to become an actor one day. Mr. “Adwen Kessie,” as he is often known, has revealed that he graduated from Junior High School (JHS) in 2014.
Yaw Dabo is a Ghanaian actor who is known for his work in the Kumawood film industry. In the beginning, Dabo’s miniature stature made it difficult for him to get into the business; nonetheless, he was eventually introduced to the Kumawood film industry by fellow actor Kwaku Manu.
He has appeared in more 150 Ghanaian movies, but his breakthrough came with the films “Megye Wo Girl” and “Our Judges.”
Dabo is an entrepreneur who owns three (3) football clubs in the colt level, including U-10, U-14, and U-17 teams, in addition to acting. Many people find it difficult to comprehend that the gifted comedy actor is poised to marry his fiancée Vivian Okyere, a fellow Kumawood star.
