AFCON 2023 draw was held on 19th April 2022 of which Ghana was drawn in Group E with the likes of Madagascar, Angola, and Central African Republic.
The Black Stars of Ghana will begin their AFCON 2023 qualifiers campaign in an opening game against the Barea of Madagascar on Monday, May, 30. The venue for the game has yet not been disclosed.
The team will travel to Central African Republic on June 14 to play their second game on the quest to make their 24th AFCON tournament appearance.
Ghana would then play Angola in their third game on 19, and 22, before playing Madagascar and Central African Republic in the return leg.
The two top teams from Group E and the other groups will qualify for the 34th Edition of the AFCON tournament to be hosted in Ivory Coast.
Positive results are needed to be grabbed by the Black Stars of Ghana to book a seat at our neighboring country Ivory Coast which will be hosting the AFCON tournament.
The Black Star‘s preparation is in motion as Coach Otto Addo and his squad prepares to make another attempt to win their fifth AFCON trophy for the republic of Ghana.
